Call meeting to order.
a. Invocation. Mark Payne, Manager, 9-1-1 Systems
b. Pledge of allegiance to the American flag.
c. Pledge of allegiance to the Texas flag. "Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible."
2. Present board member Harlan Jefferson with 10-year service award for his support and his contributions to the Denco Area 9-1-1 District.
3. Open visitors' forum: At this time, any person with business not scheduled may speak to the board. No formal action may be taken.
4. Consider consent agenda.
 
a.
Consider approval of September 11, 2008 regular meeting minutes.
 
b.
Consider approval of the September 2008 financial statements.
 
c.
Consider acceptance of the fourth quarter, fiscal year 2008 report of investment transactions for the Denco Area 9-1-1 District in accordance with its investment policy.
5. Discuss and consider moving forward with the proposed marketing program submitted to the Denco Area 9-1-1 District by mundayMorning Creative Group Inc.
6. Discuss and consider "Next Generation Emergency Communications Network Study" final report from L.Robert Kimball & Associates.
7. Consider authorizing the executive director to enter into a professional services agreement with Bates Architects for the development of a preliminary floor plan and budget for the expansion of District training and administrative facilities.
8. Consider approval of the October 2008 financial statements.
9. Consider resolution supporting the Denco Area 9-1-1 District Emergency Medical Dispatch Quality Assurance/Improvement program.
10. Consider resolution authorizing the executive director to enter into an Oil, Gas and Mineral Lease with Williams Production-Gulf Coast Company, L.P.
11. Discuss and consider the Denco Area 9-1-1 District position on Texas 9-1-1 Alliance, legislative and regulatory matters.
12. Hear staff reports.
13. Adjourn to executive session: Consider meeting to discuss pending or contemplated litigation, personnel matters and real estate acquisition as authorized under the Texas Government Code:
