 Call meeting to order.
  a. Invocation.
  b. Pledge of allegiance to the American flag.
  c. Pledge of allegiance to the Texas flag. "Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible."
2. Open Visitors Forum: At this time, any person with business not scheduled may speak to the board. No formal action may be taken.
3. Consider acceptance of the Denco Area 9-1-1 District's financial statements for the year ended September 30, 2008, with independent auditors' report.
4.

Discuss and consider reciprocal agreement for parking with the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce.
5.

Consider resolution authorizing the executive director to enter into a professional services agreement with Bates Architects, Inc. for the architectural services required for the planning and construction of Denco Area 9-1-1 District expanded office and training facilities.
6. Conduct public hearing for the following purposes:
a.

Hear public comment regarding the continuation of the Denco Area 9-1-1 District and the
9-1-1 emergency service fee.
b.

Hear public comment on the participation of the Denco Area 9-1-1 District in the North Central Texas Council of Governments regional plan for 9-1-1 services.
7.

Consider approving and adopting a resolution for the continuation of the Denco Area 9-1-1 District and the 9-1-1 emergency service fee.
8. Consider consent agenda.
a.

Consider approval of the November 13, 2008 regular meeting minutes.
b.

Consider approval of the November 2008 financial statements.
c. Consider acceptance of the first quarter, fiscal year 2009 report of investment transactions for the Denco Area 9-1-1 District in accordance with its investment policy.
9. Consider approval of the December 2008 financial statements.
10.

Discuss and consider approval of a marketing strategy for the Denco Area 9-1-1 District.
11. Discuss and consider approval of Denco Area 9-1-1 District Annual Report for the year ended September 30, 2008.
12. Discuss and consider the Denco Area 9-1-1 District position on Texas 9-1-1 Alliance, lregulatory and legislative matters.
13. Hear staff reports.
14.

Adjourn to executive session:  Closed meeting to discuss pending or contemplated litigation, personnel matters and real estate  acquisition as authorized under the Texas Government Code:
a. Personnel matters.
15. Reconvene to regular session.
